At TrimTabs, she leads talent acquisition and builds a values-aligned team as the company scales its deep-tech mission.

Will Mercer is a startup strategist specialising in business development and fundraising for high-growth companies. With a background in physics and renewable energy research and over 15 years of experience across 10+ countries, he has helped ventures raise over $20M and close $30M+ in sales. As CSO, he works closely with the CEO to refine growth strategy and lead fundraising efforts.

Shreya is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience spanning both practice and industry. She began her career at KPMG before moving into commercial finance roles at Whitbread Plc and EMI Group Plc. Today she guides the financial operations of growing businesses, having also studied Law at UCL.

Filipe Oliveira is a results-driven Senior Engineering Project Manager with over two decades of experience in process engineering and technical leadership within highly regulated industries. He was instrumental in the start-up of a medical device manufacturing plant in China for Johnson & Johnson, and led production upscaling at Zimmer Biomet that surpassed its set efficiency goals. He brings a collaborative ethos and a focus on operational excellence.

Dr. Joseph Durk joins TrimTabs as a Senior Nanomaterials Scientist, building and supporting high-quality carbon nanotube characterisation methods using a range of analytical techniques. With experience at Element Six and the University of Oxford, and a background in scientific start-ups, he brings deep expertise in experimental design and instrumentation management. He holds a PhD in Physics from Aberystwyth University.

Business and Finance CoordinatorKayla Fry supports business and finance operations across TrimTabs. She holds a Master of Mathematics from Swansea University and is working towards her ACCA qualification. A former elite trampolinist, she has earned British Bronze and Junior Commonwealth Silver and Gold medals — reflecting the dedication and discipline she brings to her professional role.

Molly Worth joins TrimTabs as a Process Development Engineer focused on developing and optimising CNT production processes to deliver high-yield, high-quality materials. She specialises in advanced characterisation techniques and design-of-experiments methodologies, and holds an EngD in materials science from Swansea University. She brings further industry experience from KLA, where she supported semiconductor processing module development.

Ioannis Tsampanakis leads projects at TrimTabs' Innovation Centre, having previously held a cross-functional engineering role at Jotis S.A. in Greece across process selection, production commissioning, and acceptance testing. He holds a Master's in Energy Innovation, where he researched CNT growth pathways, and an MEng in Chemical Engineering, both from Swansea University.

Euan Biscocho joined TrimTabs as an Associate Process Scientist, helping the team understand the chemical aspects of the CNT production process. He holds a First-Class BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College London, with specialisms in materials, polymerisation, and catalysis chemistry. He also brings research experience in the fabrication and functionalisation of microfluidics.

James Schofield grew up in West Wales with a hands-on passion for mechanics, inspired by a family background in classic car restoration. He brings expertise in CNC programming, jig design, and project leadership, including work on double-walled hydrogen pipes for cruise liner engines. At TrimTabs he applies his technical skills to advance engineering capabilities and deliver high-quality solutions.

Thilanka Andersson joined TrimTabs as a Graduate Chemical Engineer, helping translate early-stage materials innovation into scalable process solutions. He brings hands-on pilot plant experience from a placement at Axium Process, where he led the design and build of a modular benchtop RO system for membrane trials. He holds a First Class MEng in Chemical Engineering from Swansea University.

Graduate Chemical EngineerBryn Goss joined TrimTabs after completing a Master's of Chemical Engineering (MEng) with a Year in Industry at Swansea University. He has experience in process scale-up in the minerals and carbon materials sector, and brings practical, grounded engineering skills to TrimTabs' production work. He is from the local area and is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Over four decades he has designed innovation programmes for startups, corporates, and universities across Europe, Central Asia, and the US. He is the author of 21 business books with over 250,000 copies sold.
